No need to fret as there is still time to get in the holiday spirit with some last-minute decorations and costume ideas. We have created a Cedarglen Homes Halloween themed [Pinterest board](https://www.pinterest.ca/cedarglenhomes/spooktacular-ideas/) to showcase some spooktacular ideas to inspire you this year. Here is a quick glimpse at just a few of these fun DIY’s you can tackle this weekend.** **EXTERIOR INSPIRATION**   ![window](https://blog.cedarglenhomes.com/hs-fs/hubfs/window.png?width=416&name=window.png) Take black poster paper and cut out some fun monsters and aliens to tape to the windows in your home. This is a fun and easy way to decorate the outside of your home for the trick-or-treaters without having to buy big props that are expensive and difficult to store year-round.   ![door](https://blog.cedarglenhomes.com/hs-fs/hubfs/door.png?width=483&name=door.png) If you are looking for something simple and more versatile, try filling your porch with a variety of colours and sizes of pumpkins and bare branches or fall foliage. This is basic enough that you can keep it up throughout the fall season, and when Halloween rolls around all you need to do is add some black bat shaped cut-outs to create an eerie vibe. **PUMPKIN INSPIRATION** When it comes time to decorate pumpkins there are thousands of carving templates you can easily find online. However if you are looking to switch things up, check out these fun designs below – most of which just require a coat of paint to achieve. ** ![pumpkins](https://blog.cedarglenhomes.com/hs-fs/hubfs/pumpkins.jpg?width=1080&name=pumpkins.jpg)** **LAST MINUTE COSTUME DIY’S** **![halloween](https://blog.cedarglenhomes.com/hs-fs/hubfs/halloween.jpg?width=900&name=halloween.jpg)** Whether you are taking your kids trick-or-treating or decide last minute to go to your friends Halloween party, there are plenty of creative DIY costume ideas you can easily put together.
