Yee-haw! It’s that time of year again Calgary - time to dust off the old cowboy boots and bring out your inner western side. The Calgary Stampede has officially begun, and the entire city is in celebration mode. Whether you plan on making your way down to the grounds or checking out one of the many community events around the city you are guaranteed to have a boot-stomping good time.

CRANSTON RESIDENT ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL STAMPEDE BREAKFAST
Cranston’s Resident Association is a not-for-profit company that is professionally managed and oversees the maintenance of community features (i.e. entry ways, boulevards, Century hall etc.) while also hosting a variety of programming for residents. Join us this Saturday, July 6th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Cranston Century Hall for their annual Stampede Breakfast and enjoy a free pancake breakfast and plenty of entertainment for the entire family.
VIVO’S STAMPEDE BBQ
VIVO for Healthier Generations is a health and wellness facility in north east Calgary that is passionate about active living and encouraging the surrounding community members to connect with one another through events and programming. This year they are celebrating their 15th birthday in Stampede style by hosting a Stampede BBQ and Night Market this Saturday, July 6th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at their facilities. They will be launching their official ‘Play Project’ for the year, and there will be a free BBQ, live music, food trucks, interactive games and more!
Old Time Stampede at Granary Road
Granary Road is a public market located south of Calgary just 15 minutes from the new community of Belmont. This incredible place is home to a variety of premiere vendors and an interactive active learning park for the whole family to enjoy. Join us July 12 – 14th for their Old Time Stampede days where there will be free activities throughout the park every day! Dress your family in western gear and receive 10% off the park entry fee!
