Season’s Greetings! Christmas is just around the corner and we can already feel the excitement in the air throughout the city. Presents are getting wrapped, tables are being prepared for holiday feasts, and families are coming together from all over to celebrate this festive season. Before we part ways for Christmas, we would like to take time to reflect on all the incredible accomplishments from this past year.
To kick off the year we launched a brand-new website at the beginning of January which was a great way to show our commitment to continuous innovation. At Cedarglen Homes we are always looking for ways to make your entire home buying experience as user friendly as possible and in today’s day and age this all begins with our online ‘first impression’. In March we were awarded the 2019 Builder of Choice Award for Calgary for the THIRD year in a row – an accomplishment that we are very proud of here at Cedarglen Homes. This award is presented to the homebuilder that achieves the highest score as surveyed by homeowners, trades & suppliers and employees. To read more about this notable win, click here.
Our spacious new paired homes in The Parks of Harvest Hills were launched in March and we have had a blast welcoming the new families into this charming little cul-de-sac. We also opened some brand new showhomes in both Livingston and Cranston’s Riverstone that have been incredibly well received by all who has seen them. In Livingston we featured both a working kitchen and a legal secondary suite – two custom modules that have been selected by several home buyers in the past year. Our showhomes in Riverstone included a memorable third-storey loft in one home and a showstopping open rise staircase in the other. One of the most unique innovations of the past year was a project we fondly refer to around the office as ‘Scooby-Doo’ a.k.a. our Mobile Sales Centre. Our team worked hard to create this unique sales trailer that we can bring to various events and places around Calgary. Throughout the year, the trailer was seen at events such as the Wellspring Firefighter Stairclimb, Lilac Festival, Cranston’s Stampede Breakfast, Granary Road, and many of our showhome events. We look forward to another year of seeing you around town, so if you see our large orange trailer be sure to stop in and say hi.
Finally, 2019 was the year we officially launched a new and exciting product series in the Calgary market that we have named the ‘M’ Series. This is a unique line-up of smaller sized bungalows that offer a fantastic alternative to condo living at a similar price point. All these incredible milestones from 2019 has us all very excited about the new year to come. Our head office will be relocating to a new building in January, so we are busier than ever preparing for that move.
